APPOLOGIES ALL AROUND

Sorry I flipped and verbally assaulted my friends. I came down with the flu today and I don't think I was of sound mind yesterday. As for my music selection I am still looking for tunes. However, normally I listen to the Wicked sound track or phantom or grease, I have eclectic taste. Just for the gym I need something more motivating.

I think I am over the party ....my pity party anyway. I know it will be fun. sorry for the verbal abuse and pity party!

ps thanks for the comments! hahaha

Sorry you are feeling no love from your ward or your outside friends. We have been on the sick express ourselves and my "mommy time" from 8-11 is non-existant right now since my kids haven't been sleeping. BUT, I have had the same type of ward as you and really, they get better. Either the ward splits, you move, more people move in, etc. It is tough at times though. Hang in there.

As for work-out tracks, I pretty much just listen to alternative, so I dont have much good hip hop for you. I like working out to "How far we've come" matchbox twenty, "1985" and "High School Never Ends" Bowling for Soup. They are not going to get you into a sprint though. I am looking for good workout music too and am willing to dip into the hip hop genre for it so if you get anything good, let me know!

Holy cow Erica, you came out of that one quick. Either you've gone soft in your old age or Don really is as good for you as I thought he would be :) Hope your shower goes fabulously!! The wards down here in Vegas are much better I'm sure hehe :)

Erica, I found that the trade-offs to living in a large city and a smaller town are the ones you speak of. In small towns, it is really really hard to get to know people and feel close to them. For some reason I have found people to be super friendly and close right away in the big city. When we moved to Elko, it took me forever to make friends with the original Elkonians.I made friends with outsiders easily (also most of them were from a big city). I made awesome friends in San Antonio and we only lived there for six months! Also lots of friends in Colorado Springs. When we moved to Wisconsin, we had lived there five years and I was just starting to make some friends, but they are great ones too, just harder to come by. I think that is super hard to throw a shower too and then when it is a tough crowd. I'm sorry, but proud of you for being tough and throwing the party anyway! Go Erica!
